No... we're not in Mexico!! We're celebrating our adoption placement at our favorite Mexican restaurant!! We celebrated with the Matt, Erin & Owen!! Fiesta!!

First Check Up!

This morning, Luke went to the pediatrician for his first check up! He's a healthy boy!

Friends Forever!

Luke met his buddy, Owen, today for his first play date! They had a great time chillin' out together! Of course, Luke's other buddy, Macy (aka: The Buppies), always wants to hang out together too!

First Ohio State Game

Seth, Grandpa and Luke watched Luke's first Ohio State football game! Ohio State vs. Ohio University! Luke's a good luck charm, as the Buckeyes won by 12 points!!!

Luke is home now!

Luke is finally home! We had a big day meeting the neighbors, taking our first walk with Macy, and sleeping and eating lots! Luke is a really good eater!

He's here and he's wonderful!

Luke James was born on Tuesday Sept. 2nd at 6:41pm. He weighed 7 lbs and 7 oz! He was 20.5 inches, and healthy! And of course, very cute!! Heather was able to watch his birth and even cut the umbilical cord! Lynette (Luke's birthmom) is feeling well and glad to see that Luke is healthy baby and happy with his new adoptive parents. It was so wonderful to finally meet our son and we instantly fell in love with him! He is truly a blessing from God! Our first family photo (above left) was taken about 1 hour after Luke was born! We couldn't be happier!
